OUR STORY

Country Lane Pet Lodge was the passion of Deb Held and opened in 1990, just west of Freeport.  Deb’s goal was to provide the best pet boarding and grooming in the Tri-state area.  A goal that she achieved and maintained throughout the past 33 years.  As Deb looked forward to retirement, she began looking for a successor that would continue the top-level care Country Lane has provided since 1990.

Deb didn’t have to look any further than her kennel manager, Emily Toepfer.  Emily has the been managing Country Lane since 2019 and has continued the exceptional care and compassion that Country Lane was founded on.

On July 1, 2023 the torch was officially passed to Emily, making her the new owner and operator of Country Lane Pet Lodge, now under a slightly new name, Country View Pet Lodge.

Although the name has slightly changed, Emily and the dedicated team continue to provide the same exceptional care for the furry friends entrusted to them.

Country View Pet Lodge looks forward to continuing the tradition that Deb founded and wants to thank Deb for her guidance and the opportunity to continue on the tradition.  We also want to thank our customers and their furry companions for their continued support.
